Development of the Old VEC Football Field

Over the last few weeks the club have been working on the old football field behind the VEC College on Dublin Road. Great work has been done on the field and it is hope to be used as a training area for all our teams from 2019.

On Saturday 26th the following volunteers spend a few hours picking stones from the field to prepare it for seeding, thanks to Shane Campbell, Edward Casey, Paul McDonnell, John Connolly, Mairead Connolly, Orla Connolly, Michael Daly, Cian Campbell, Aaron Barry, Adam Irwin and Douglas Kelly.

Under 16 League Division 4 Final

Well done to the players and management on reaching the Under 16 league final tonight (Tuesday) in Ballina. Unfortunately they came up against a very good team in Naomh Padraig but showed great spirit and determination.
